Novo Nordisk is committed to doing our best for patients and their families throughout
therapy. Free support services like NordiCare® are one example of this commitment.
The moment your doctor tells our experienced team that he has prescribed Norditropin®,
we assign a dedicated Case Manager as your "personal assistant" for insurance related
matters during your full time on treatment.
Even before you begin treatment, your Case Manager is there to help with the initial
insurance authorization. And they will continue to help with things like reauthorization
and any changes with your insurance, treatment questions—even education—just to
name a few.
If you have any questions that pop up, your Case Manager is there for:
- Insurance coverage
- Approvals or reimbursement
- Paying for Norditropin®
- Device training
- Your pharmacy
- Getting your medication

Getting You Started
When your doctor decides to put your child on Norditropin®, they should register
them with NordiCare® or you can call NordiCare® directly. Afterwards you will receive
a Welcome Packet with a place to store your important documents and record important
numbers as well as some forms to sign so we can help you get started.
Once your child is ready to start using Norditropin® and is registered with NordiCare®,
they will receive a free Starter Kit which includes items such as:*
- A backpack
- A hard carrying case for their Norditropin® device
- A cooler bag for transporting pens when they are required to be refrigerated
- A DVD that shows how to inject using the Norditropin® device
- Step-by-step written instructions on using the Norditropin® device
- Instructions on where to give injections and how to dispose of needles
- A postage-paid postcard to get a free gift
- And more!

One-on-One Training
Even though Norditropin® pens are easy to learn and you may have
received training in your doctor's office, your doctor may request additional training.
NordiCare® can help by arranging a nurse to come straight to your home to teach
you or your child how to inject Norditropin® at a day and time that is best
for your family. If you have experience with growth hormone therapy before, the
NordiCare® nurse could even do the training over the Internet or by telephone,
if your doctor is ok with it.
Pharmacist on Call
If you ever have questions about Norditropin® and you can't get hold of your doctor,
you can always talk with one of the pharmacists at NordiCare®. They are available
